“Developing the Next Generation of American Citizens”

Director’s Message

As we wrap up October, I’m inspired by the energy, learning, and joy happening each day across our campus. This month was filled with celebration, community, and growth - the heart of what makes LIbertas so special.

Academically, our teachers and students have been working hard as we move deeper into the first semester. We expect the state report card results to be made available soon! We are incredibly proud of the growth we’re seeing and the dedication of our teachers that makes it possible.

October also brought memorable moments outside the classroom. We celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a focus on making healthy choices, and our Book Fair was a huge success - students rediscovered their love for reading, and the event helped raise funds to support our school.

As we turn the calendar to November, I’m reminded how much we have to be thankful for - our incredible students, devoted teachers, and supportive families who make Libertas feel like home. Thank you for continuing to live out our mission and for the many ways you show up for our school community.

Go Patriots!

Libertas Gives Back: Veteran’s Care Kits and Cards Drive (Oct 27-Nov 11)

In honor of Veterans Day, our middle school is leading a school-wide service project benefiting Upstate Warrior Solution. While our younger grades perform, middle schoolers will assemble Veterans Care Kits and write thank-you cards - and all grades are invited to donate items.

Donate (new, travel-size when possible): Shampoo/conditioner, body wash/soap, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush & toothpaste, socks, small tissues, lip balm, hand sanitizer/wipes, snack packs (granola bars, crackers, trail mix).

How to help:

  • Send items October 27 - Nov 11

  • Drop in your grade’s bin in the gym lobby each morning.

  • Friendly competition! The winning grade level earns a Pajama Day on Friday of Veterans Week.

Assembly Days: Nov 12-14

Goal: One full care kit per student, showing real appreciation for local veterans. Thank you for supporting our nation’s Patriots.

Sports

Congratulations to our LIbertas Girls Volleyball Team on an undefeated season! Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments on and off the court.

We also wrapped our first-ever Cross country season - our runners showed incredible grit, clocked personal records, and represented LIbertas with heart at every meet. Thank you to our coaches and families for cheering them on and helping launch this new tradition.

As volleyball and cross country conclude, we’re excited to shift our focus to the upcoming boys and girls basketball seasons. WE can’t wait to see our athletes bring that same Patriot pride, effort, and sportsmanship to the court this winter!
