Director's Message
Dear Patriot Families,
As we wrap up the 2024–2025 school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and continued support of our school community.
May was filled with exciting moments and meaningful milestones! We celebrated our incredible teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week—thank you to all of you who contributed kind notes, treats, and time to help make it special. We also successfully completed state testing, and we are proud of the effort our scholars showed in demonstrating their learning.
One of our most joyful days was the Libertas Olympics, where students displayed teamwork, determination, and lots of school spirit. We closed the year with celebrations of achievement, including our End-of-Year Awards Days and a very special K5 Graduation—congratulations to some of our youngest students moving on to first grade!
As we head into summer, we hope your family enjoys a time of rest, fun, and connection. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve your children this year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another amazing year of learning and growth.
Have a restful and joyful summer!

Olympic Day
What an incredible day of energy, teamwork, and school spirit! Our annual Olympic Day was packed with exciting games, friendly competition, and tons of laughter. From relay races, to javelin, to long jump, students and staff gave it their all while cheering each other on. It was amazing to see everyone come together to celebrate sportsmanship, determination, and just plain fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day unforgettable - can’t wait to do it again next year!
Kindergarten Graduation
Hearts were filled with joy and warmth as we celebrated our amazing kindergarten graduates! With big smiles and proud hearts, our little learners sang songs, shared their works, and walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, certificates, and awards. It was a beautiful moment filled with joy, laughter, and maybe a few happy tears. We are so proud of how much they’ve grown this year - academically, socially, and emotionally. Congratulations to our kindergarten stars - you’re off to great places!
Awards Day
Our 1st–8th Grade Awards Day was a joyful celebration of hard work, growth, and excellence! Families, teachers, and classmates gathered to honor students for their academic achievements, character, and leadership throughout the year. From Principal’s List to Most Improved and everything in between, each award represented a story of effort, determination, and pride. It was a beautiful reminder of how much our students have accomplished and how bright their futures are. Congratulations to all of our award recipients—you make Libertas proud!
MAP Incentives
We had an amazing time recognizing our students’ hard work and progress during our MAP Incentive Celebrations! We celebrated the top 10% of students in both ELA and Math for their outstanding growth and/or achievement — a huge accomplishment that deserves to be recognized!
But the fun didn’t stop there… because our entire school showed such tremendous overall growth, we had to celebrate in an unforgettable way. That’s right — Mrs. Patton, Mrs. Reel, and Coach Bell kissed a pig! This was a promise made to students earlier in the year as part of our school-wide incentive — and the students held up their end of the deal with incredible focus and effort. We’re so proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see even more growth next year!
Sports Banquet
We had such an unforgettable morning as we came together to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our incredible student athletes. At our first ever Sports Banquet, we honored teams and individuals who showed outstanding performance, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the season. Our athletes gave it their all on and off the fields and courts this year - and it showed. Congratulations to all our players, coaches, and families for some amazing seasons. The future is bright, and we’re just getting started!
