Director's Message
Dear Patriot Families,
As we wrap up March, I want to take a moment to celebrate what an incredible month it has been for our school community! From exciting academic milestones to impressive athletic achievements, March was packed with memorable moments.
We started the month with Read Across America Week, where our students embraced the joy of reading with guest readers, engaging activities, and schoolwide literacy celebrations. It was amazing to see their enthusiasm for books and storytelling!
Our Celebrations of Learning were truly special. First graders hosted a feast to mark their learning journey, while kindergarteners explored Colonial times, Columbus, and the Pilgrims—culminating in a voyage that ended with a feast of their own! Third graders brought history to life with their Viking celebration, and our 7th grade students impressed us with a Poetry Slam, showcasing their creativity and confidence.
March was also a standout month for our boys' and girls' soccer teams, who displayed outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship on the field. Their hard work is paying off, and we are so proud of their efforts!
To close out the month, we held our Fine Arts Festival, a beautiful celebration of our students’ musical talents and artistic creativity. Seeing their artwork on display and hearing their musical performances was truly inspiring!
Looking ahead to April, we can’t wait for more learning, growth, and community events. Thank you for your continued support and for being such a vital part of our school family. Enjoy a wonderful spring break, and let’s make April another fantastic month!

Libertas Highlights
We had an amazing time celebrating Read Across America Week at school! Students enjoyed a week full of literacy-themed activities, special read-alouds, and the highlight of it all—the award-winning book fair! Excitement filled the air as students explored a fantastic selection of books and book-related merchandise, finding new favorites to add to their collections. It was wonderful to see so many young readers eager to dive into new adventures through the magic of reading!
We had a fantastic time celebrating our students’ achievements at our 3rd Quarter Awards Day! We proudly recognized those who earned a spot on the All-A and A/B Honor Roll for their hard work and dedication. In addition, one student from each class was honored for exemplifying this month’s Core Virtue—Compassion, which means showing kindness, understanding, and a willingness to help others. It was a joy to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and their commitment to excellence both in academics and character!
Our kindergarten students had a fantastic time celebrating their learning in the Core Knowledge domain of Columbus and the Pilgrims! They explored the exciting journeys of Christopher Columbus and the Pilgrims through engaging activities, stories, and hands-on projects. From learning about the Mayflower to understanding the importance of exploration and early settlements, our young learners showcased their knowledge in fun and creative ways. It was a wonderful celebration of their hard work and curiosity!
Our 7th graders showcased their creativity and passion for poetry during their Realms of Gold Celebration of Learning! Throughout the unit, students explored poetry as a powerful form of expression, studying classic and contemporary works before crafting their own original pieces. As a grand finale, they took center stage at a poetry slam, sharing their heartfelt and thought-provoking poems with friends and family. It was an inspiring event that highlighted their talent, hard work, and unique voices!

Student Highlights
Our boys’ soccer team is on fire this season, boasting an impressive 5-1 record! Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication on the field have led to thrilling victories and strong performances in every match. The team has shown incredible skill and determination, making our school proud with their sportsmanship and competitive spirit. As they push forward in the season, we can’t wait to see them continue their success. Go team!
Congratulations to our girls’ soccer team on their first big win of the season! Their hard work, determination, and teamwork paid off as they battled it out on the field and came away victorious. This win is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see them continue to grow and succeed. Way to go, team!
